Hi,

I need to find a users manual for HP 1630G Logic analyzer, can anybody
help me with a link to download this manual?

Much appreciated for any help.

Cheers
Bengt

Check the model number. I couldn't find a 1630 on the Agilent site. They do have on-line manuals for many logic analyzers.

[Homebrew_PCBs] LT1085 Voltage regulator

2005-07-06 by Robert Hedan

Hi,

I'm searching for a positive voltage regulator that can handle 48V input and
40V 3A output for a stepper motor application. I'm using the L287/L298 IC
combo which can handle up to 46V 4A. My steppers are only 1.5A per phase,
so I'm targetting 3A output. I have one transformer/IC combo dedicated per
stepper motor, with the ICs synchronized together (using the SYNC pin).

The specs for the Linear Technologies LT1083 series does not mention an
input and output voltage like the other regulators. Instead, the output
amperage is dependant on voltage input/output differential.

For example: LT1085 Vin - Vout = 5V
3.2A output minimum
4.0A output typical

My specs: Vin - Vout = Vdiff
48 - 40 = 8V input/output differential

My voltage is 8 compared to the spec sample of 5, so my amperage would be
slightly lower than the spec sample of 4A since amperage decreases as
voltage increases.

Is it that simple, or am I missing something?

Robert

D'oh!

Yes, I meant to send this to the Electronics 101 group. I was daydreaming
and sent it to the wrong group, situation corrected.

Sorry, wrong subject material. At least I copy/pasted the proper links at
the bottom.
