A normal compressor intoduces oil in the airstream and can not be run
closed-loop because of metal parts.
I have set up a small fridge compressure, small storage tank and a nice
panel with regulator, gauges, and outlet at my workbench for the other
stuff you mentioned.

Why not just use an inexpensive air compressor? Even tank
models can be had for ~$100 at places such as Walmart including
pressure regulator. You likely only need 3-5 PSI at maybe
1-2 CFM if that.

A compressor is also useful as a source of air for reflow
soldering and vacuum source (with a $10 venturi style pump)
for desoldering, pick/place, etc..

Oil lubricated compressors can introduce oil but inexpensive
filters are exist for common applications such as spray
painting which can be used to remove airborne oil. Alternatively
an oil-less compressor (teflon piston) are available and typically
cost less than oil lube versions.
