Where to get small quantities of soldermask

Where to get small quantities of soldermask

2004-06-04 by javaguy11111

I want to give soldermasks a try with my circuit boards. I looked at
Think Tink, but the smallest roll they sell is 12in by 40ft for $180
dollars. This is a bit much for just a little experimentation. Any
place that sells smaller quantities.

I have a roll of DuPont 8140 dry film soldermask if you need some. A
vacuum laminator is the best way to apply this film but I've used a
sheet of thin nylon in a vacuum frame and ironed it on. If you don't
use a vacuum source there will be air bubbles and voids on your board.

I can also supply FR-4 panels with negative acting dry film
photoresist if anyone needs that type of material. It's similar to
what Kepro used to sell.

Contact me off list if there is any interest.
