No handouts here...

Hello all. I'm new to the group, but not too new to pcb building. I
met John K. a few months ago by searching through the 20 or so home
cnc pages on the web. Truthfully, if these people don't have the time
to search through 20 pages to find what they are looking for, then
they don't have the time or motivation to build any pcb's. Since John
posted my page on his site, I've had loads of emails about how I
built this or that or where did I found my materials. My answer is
the same: Google. Instead of whining about why something worked or
didn't, I did the research, did the trial and error myself and fixed
the problem. So far, only about 3 of the emails I got were from
people whom I could tell had the motivation, but needed a shove in
the right direction. I don't mind helping these people.

Now, I've successfully built John's cnc pcb mill, and Hans' bipolar
driver. I need bipolar for my new super duty cnc mill!

So, don't get too discouraged guys, there will always be slackers.
Keep building cool stuff and just share with the motivated folks.

Dave K.

There's a few links at http://www.desktopcnc.com for those
more lazy...
