Software to cnc a pcb

Software to cnc a pcb

2004-02-12 by bdrmachine

Hey Guys

Is anyone using software to convert Gerber to G-Code (cnc)?
If so what seams to be the best package? What type of results can I
expect?

Thanks
Brian

Hi,

If you are using Eagle, a fellow wrote a converter that I have used and works great. It is in the files section. You actually install it in Eagle and when you want the G Code all you do is click on it.

But thanks for the reply.

You could try DeskPCB from www.imsrv.com. It's about $95 - I have it as part of their bigger DeskCNC package. I have yet to try it but I've seen others on the forum talk about their success.

You may want to check in on that forum to get links to pictures of results.

No affiliation, just a happy customer.

HTH,

James
