I was very pleased with the results so I thought I would share the simplicity
of using two one inch thick steel 6 inch square plates on a $10 hot plate.

The top plate weighs 15 pounds with the C clamp handle.
The silicone mats distribute the weight across uneven surfaces.
Press time wass 3 minutes.
Blown bubbles press time was 5 minutes.
