[Homebrew_PCBs] Another material information URL

[Homebrew_PCBs] Another material information URL

2003-12-19 by Stefan Trethan

Hi

Just wanted to drop

<http://www.matweb.com/>

here if anyone is looking for material data.

There are the standard things listed (density, conductivity etc.)
and also notes on useage, and chem. resistivity.

I think it is a good page and it list Materials not only Elements.

I will put it in the links section too.

Stefan

Quote from their Homepage:

What is MatWeb?

The heart of MatWeb is a searchable database of material data sheets,
including property information on thermoplastic and thermoset polymers such
as ABS, nylon, polycarbonate, polyester, polyethylene and polypropylene;
metals such as aluminum, cobalt, copper, lead, magnesium, nickel, steel,
superalloys, titanium and zinc alloys; ceramics; plus semiconductors,
fibers, and other engineering materials.

MatWeb is freely available and does not require registration. You can still
access all of the features that have always been available. However,
advanced features are only available to our Registered and Premium users.

Thanks, Stefan, for making a folder and posting that and some other
similar links.

A reminder to everyone: check the Links and Files areas occassionally
if you have questions. I've gone to some trouble to set up the Links
especially to cover the subjects of making PCBs at home.

And remember, you guys can add links, too. I ask that they be on
topic, of course, and please try to put them in the appropriate
folder. If there doesn't seem to be one, create it or ask me for
suggestions.

You do have to be logged into Yahoogroups to access those features now.
