Correction to lexmark e260d printer guide

Correction to lexmark e260d printer guide

2015-02-17 by Matthew O'Gorman

Hi. I just got my lexmark e260d to convert to a pcb printer. In step 4
of the instructables guide it says

"You should now just be left with two bare green plastic pieces
[Photo]."

I am fairly certain it should be.

"You should now just be left with two bare gray plastic pieces
[Photo]."

Thanks for the guide. I get my parts from mcmaster tomorrow so I am
excited to finish it. I also ported your pseudocode to an arduino
library I figure that might help some people out. I will post here once
I can test it.

Sorry I was referring to this
http://www.instructables.com/id/Modification-of-the-Lexmark-E260-for-Direct-Laser--1/?ALLSTEPS
instructables link. It is mlerman's project.

Re: [Homebrew_PCBs] Correction to lexmark e260d printer guide

Hi Matthew,

I'm not sure where that line of text is. However, I am somewhat colorblind and can easily have mistaken gray for green. Quite a few people have made this conversion by now, so I can say without reservation that it works! When I started investigating DLP in 2010, I wasn't so sure!

Mark
