Raw acetal will do that, but the black delrn stuff I use has a uv stabilizer. Even with accelerated UV exposure testing it holds up well. I have some grey non UV stabilized stuff that I never used as I was too paranoid.... Thanks for the heads up

Right, I WAS thinking only about the white. The black Delrin in the same
outdoor pushbutton-assy. seems OK. Just the white that has turned to chalk.
