Homebrew PCBs

I have modified a deskjet d1460. It has c21 and c22 cartridges. It prints brilliantly but the ink readily dissolves providing no resistance to etchant.Is there any remedy or I have to scrap the printer

The problem: desktop HP printers use pigment black and dye colors.

You should come over to Inkjet_PCB_Construction to discuss this. I'm listowner of both groups. There are remedies.

Ink jet printer ink isn't resistant to etchants. Use it to produce 
transparencies.
