Youtube video of home plated throug holes

I found a Youtube video of plating through holes using home made solution and kit, does not answer the question as to how to protect the copper in the holes from the etch solution, but is fine for routed boards.

He just repeat the same ink filling process (and surface scrubbing) with
is acrylic ink. There was another video with it, the ink was white (no
graphite in it). And he actually used toner transfer afterwards!!

Where is the video located where he uses the white ink? Is the white ink
conductive?

Before you get too wrapped into the plating process it would be a good
idea to check out the availability of the supplies. Acquiring a small
quantity of Sulfuric acid at areasonable price may not be possible for
me. The other components look OK.

Sulfuric acid is battery acid, and should be readily available. I even purchased some from a pool supply store once for use in reducing pH in swimming pools. Be aware that Muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid) is more commonly used for this purpose. You might be able to purchase from a scientific supply store if you have one in your area. I was able to buy Nitric acid from such a store in Denver, and I think they would have Sulphiric acid as well. Another possible source would be local metal plating shops.

Sulfuric acid should be available at (most) any auto supply store. I
got some at Autozone a while back, for anodizing aluminum.

Look at Walmart in the drain cleaner section.
