FS: Ikon IP330 (aka Peak PP330) A3 laminator

FS: Ikon IP330 (aka Peak PP330) A3 laminator

I have one of these whose diode sensor based control board or thermostat had failed in the ON state, and has de-laminated front rollers and a blown thermal fuse.

The heated rollers are cheap enough at trade price of £16=25 plus VAT each (£20=31 plus VAT full retail), as is the thermal fuse at £2=60 plus VAT, both available from:

<http://www.vivid-online.com/>

Total cost for those parts would be £42=12 including VAT.

The cost of the control board was however another matter - well over £30 for a small PCB with a transformer, some diodes, an opamp, a transistor, a relay and a few Rs and Cs.

I reverse engineered the control board (full schematic available on request) and have fixed it (replaced an LM324 op-amp).

Before I had the time to do that however I had already acquired another at a very good price ...

So it is for sale on the basis that for about £45 or so you will have a fully working A3 laminator with a retail of about £180.

Please contact me off list if interested.

Cheers
Dave
