Cleaning Boards

How are you guys cleaning your copper boards?

Whenever I use the scotch brite pads even with a drop of dish soap,
I always get little micro scratches on my boards, which I assume is bad.

I dunno about that ..
I use scotch brite and like the little scratches ..
Could help the toner fuse? not sure
and they come off for the most part after I etch
when I scrub the board with 0000 steel will to get the
toner off .. but .. I am also using 2 oz copper ..
lol

Bonami, a metal cleanser/scouring powder, followed by 1000 grit
sandpaper (generally wet is ok), then acetone to get rid of any oil or
grease.
