Just saw this "scissor cut" double copper clad board http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G17455 which you can supposedly cut with scissors. Has anyone used it? Is the copper on this board the same thickness as the copper on 32-mil board? Would this stuff be good for low-current prototyping?

I've used similar. Any idea what the copper thickness is? Thank you, Donald. -- "Plain Text" email -- it's an accessibility issue () no proprietary attachments; no html mail /\ ascii ribbon campaign - <www.asciiribbon.org> ----- Original Message -----

I have a bunch of thin single sided stuff. I love it. Its so thin that you can see through it after its been etched. This makes it possible to precisely align the two sides of a two sided circuit AFTER its been etched. It also means that if you want to use solder paste with SMD components on both sides of the board, its not a big deal, you can solder the sides separately before re-combining them. Just remember to drill any vias and thru-holes with the sides aligned before you start to solder. You can also get this type of board the the Ebay store: PCB Depot.
