Laminator question- HF

Laminator question- HF

2010-04-19 by milepost1

Has anyone use the Harbor Freight 9" laminator?

They are running it on sale right now for $22.99. At that price it might be worth it even if it needs some slight mods.

I have not, but it sure looks good - specs say 300F max temp which would be ok for TT - 320F max would be better, but that might do the trick - and for $23 - sounds like a good deal to me.

Pulsar is going to have to come down on their laminator at $70 each - there are getting to be too many that are MUCH less expensive.

Thanks for the link.

Pick one up and let us know how it does, you may be able to modify it easily to boost the temperature.

If all else fails you can use it to laminate, I make really clean looking front panels for projects by laser printing on ordinary paper then laminate and spray glue it to the control panel and cut out the holes with a sharp razor knife.
