Sparkfun Port-o-Rotary enhancement

Sparkfun Port-o-Rotary enhancement

2010-01-05 by David Griffith

I'm sure a few of you are on the Sparkfun forums. I'm interested in
making a few bluetooth Port-o-Rotary boards for converting, say,
candlesticks or DynaTacs. Someone there, John Morley, said that he
tweaked the board design to correct some problems. I posted and PMed that
I'm interested in the specifics (board files, source code, etc) but
nobody has replied. Can someone here help? Has anyone here done anything
with the Port-o-Rotary in any way?

A: Because it fouls the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail?

I did a board design, but got I got stalled on the software end. I'm not
sure the source code that can be downloaded from sparkfun is the same as
they ship in their finished product.

I'd be interested in working on the project some more, but my hardware
design is probably a little too specific to the phone host I wanted to use.

This blog may also be of interest.
