Also, search Instructables. There are some very clever and practical designs there. hi I just found a very simple CNC mechanical design at http://www.instructables.com/id/Easy-to-Build-Desk-Top-3-Axis-CNC-Milling-Machine/?ALLSTEPS what do you think. will it have enough precision for drilling DIL .100 holes????? will like forum readers opinion juan abba --- In Homebrew_PCBs@yahoogroups.com, "Myc Holmes" <mycroft2152y@...> wrote: > > Also, search Instructables. > > There are some very clever and practical designs there. > > Myc > > On Sat, Aug 9, 2008 at 12:46 PM, Alexis Shaw <alexis.shaw@...> wrote: > > > easy. > > try google if not i can help. > > > > On Sat, Aug 9, 2008 at 6:43 AM, pcflyer777 <pcflyer777@...<pcflyer777%40yahoo.com>>

Yes, it should work. You will need to spend some time setting it up but once it is square in all axes it should be fine. Allthread rod is surprisingly accurate. Don't use the suggested motor driver design. While it will work it will be very slow. Something like a Xylotex <www.xylotex.com> driver will give much better performance. Les juanabba wrote:
