TO220-5 straight / LM2576 Eagle Library

TO220-5 straight / LM2576 Eagle Library

2008-03-28 by Matthew Smith

Hi Folks

Does anyone have an Eagle library for the LM2576 or just a TO220-5
straight (NOT the staggered-lead variety) that they would be willing to
share?

Thought I'd ask before I made a ham-fisted attempt at putting one
together myself.

Cheers

M

It will take you less time to change a 3-legged one to 5 legs than
typing the request below. Probably well worth learning. I'd further
venture that learning it would take you less time than downloading and
copying/inserting the footprint someone else sent. Eagle may be a pile
of cra* at times, but editing library parts is reasonably easy.

That's especially true when you consider you will significantly reduce
the risk of recieving a library which has been "contaminated" by a copy
of Eagle that Cadsoft didn't give their blessings to.
