What ever happened with the direct laser toner method?

Does anyone know what happened to the company that was developing the
method to print traces directly to copper using a laser printer? I
remember an article about maybe 2 years ago on up and coming
technology in "Nuts N' Volts" if I remember the correct mag. They
showed a laser printer with a pcb coming out of it where the circuit
had been printed directly with toner!
