C84 Mods for Printing Direct to PCB

Perhaps ST can answere this with regards to the C84 do you think that
it could be modified to use a Belt system to pull a table along
(similar to the Print Head mechanism) I was thinking of mounting a
small table under the print thats on a Linear Rail with bearings,
they're very smooth.

I'm off hunting for C84's & MISPro Ink's

The C84 may be strong enough for a lightweight table. If not i think it
would be possible to take the stepper signals and amplify them for a
larger motor.
Keep in mind that there is a calibration parameter that has to do with the
torque on the paper feed motor, you can ajust it with the service utility.

It's ok I figured it out, must say there's no shortage of tweaking tools
about for the Epson printer .... what other non OEM cool tools are there
when it come to Hackability ?

Most epson printers have a eeprom insisde that stores service calibration
parameters.
You can change them with the service utility. Only epson service places
are meant to have the service utility.

Some of the parameters can also be changed via the normal driver menu, I
believe the feed torque thing is one of them.
