Eagle PCB Schematics : Multi Color NETS?

Here [http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/Homebrew_PCBs/photos/view/fa17?
b=1&o=2]
is a image of a Schematic Which I had to export multiple times into
Photoshop, in order to apply diffrent COLORS to NETS, depending on
function of the net. Don't worry about being able to read the
schematic, you get the general idea by a quick glance.

The QUESTION is, Can Eagle (Freeware) do this? Perhaps a script or ULP
might be available? Is this capability hidden away somewhere i have'nt
found? I know that it is possable to change NET Colors Globally, but I
want to SELECT the Nets and Colors, Not have all the Nets the same
Color.

( Yes I did post this to the eaglecad group also)

Thanks

May not interest you but target 3001 can do that, and on request they
added colored "ratsnest" lines in the layout part as well. very helpful to
have an easy visual indication what kind of signal all the rubber bands
are...

FWIW, I can do that in Pulsonix. 8-)

Forget about Eagle CAD, ive had my woes with that program. Go for the
free version of Dip Trace. It is the full version but with a limit of
250 Pins.

I know exactly why you want nets to be different colors. DipTrace lets
you check for full net-to-pin connection when you move the cursor over
the wires, it highlights the whole net. Check out this eye candy:

Which T3001 are you using? PCB-Pool(tm) version (AKA unlimited free
version) or the trial, commercial?

Oh, Do you now? You Psychic?

FWIW The Reason I needed to make diffrent nets diffrent colors was so
that the schematic could be published for a group who may NOT be that
well versed in electronics. If the nets could be made diffrent colors
then there would be less chance of incorrect wireing done by someone
following the schematic. Colors also show the functions of the
various nets.

Yea, Eagle has a function like that, 'SHOW' (Little Eyeball Icon)
click it, click the net, highlights the whole net, incluiding
component pins. Eagle ALSO has "Electrical Rules Check' which will
generate a list of suspected errors according to the design rules in
use.

This was never intended to spark some sort of "This Editor is better
than that one" type of FLAME WAR.
I was only asking if anyone knew of a Script or ULP that would
perform the "colorizing" of selected nets.

Even using a 'junk' email address I prefer not to have to enter a lot
of information before I can download a evaluation copy of software.
Had to do that once for a piece of CNC related software, Had to give
a Valid phone # and I entered one. Salesman pestered the CRUD out of
me twice a week for about 3 Months. Told him the first couple of
times that I was'nt interrested and then I started checking caller ID
before answering the phone, what a PITA! (Pain In The A**).

Did I ever say DipTrace was better than Eagle?? You totally
misinterpreted my answer to your question, I was simply trying to help
you. I my self use a myriad of tools not just one.

However it seems that because of the small schematic size, you pretty
much do not need an eagle script, although it would be hanndy. A
third-party program for CorelDRAW allows schematic creation, and thus
different colored nets, doubt this is a helpful or the least expensive
solution, lol.
