Re: Commercial Ads on the list

Re: Commercial Ads on the list

2003-04-16 by Jean-Marc Van Laethem

Greetings,

On the issue of letting commercial companies participate to this list, I
suggest we let them take part.
I do not mind an occasional plug for a new product.
Commercial participants also can provide valuable information in terms of
PCB cad, chemicals, best practices, tips and trick...
Besides we know that Steve will be on their case if they abuse of the list.

I say Commercial sites are welcome.
What is your opinion?
Regards to all,

Jean-Marc
(I do not have a commercial site to advertise!)

Hi Everyone.

Robert Grauman and I have been doing some work with printed circuit boards using copper chloride etchant. Robert documented the process and posted it on the web at:

http://www.pacificsun.ca/~robert/pcb/pcb.htm

                                    Best regards

I just want to stress that I did not want to see her only emails to
the list be ads.

It does look like she is on the list to take part.

Iron on PCBs using inkjet paper in a laser printer

2003-04-16 by Steve Greenfield

Cool! Let's give this it's own thread, though. Hijacking threads
just annoys everyone and confuses the moderator.

I added the site to the Links under Acid Etching and under Toner
Transfer. I like the speaker idea.

Robert's Acid Etching tips and techniques
Using Ammonium Persulphate or CuCl to etch. Also has details on
using inkjet paper in a laser printer to do toner transfer.
Includes a tip involving using a loudspeaker to shake up the
etchant to speed etching.
