Where to get Epson service manuals?

Where to get Epson service manuals?

2006-05-10 by lcdpublishing

Hi guys,

I just searched the Espon site and didn't find them there - just all
the consumer related documents and such. Is there some place special
to go to get the service manuals?

Things like that are found at
<http://www.eserviceinfo.com/>

they have a very good stock of PC related gear.
There are more specialized pages like BAMA for old test gear and stuff.

Sadly service manuals are not like they used to be, but at least the
drawings allowed me to identify and place that little plastic part that
had dropped out, over which i was wondering surely more than an hour where
it might possibly go. It was useless to function anyway, but if your
printer refuses to initialize and you are left with a small part of which
you do not know where it belongs you can't help but wonder.

I find the Kademlia filesharing network is great for this sort of thing. You
want a copy of eMule (www.emule-project.net), but it's a bit of a pain to
set up if you don't know what you're doing.

There are also a few websites (eServiceInfo?) that have the files available
to download, but last I checked the choice was pretty limited.

Also, if you're servicing Epson printers, you'll want SSC Service too. Google
for that, it's not hard to find.
