EAGLE 4.16r1 Library interface Change?

EAGLE 4.16r1 Library interface Change?

2006-05-03 by kilocycles

I just loaded version 4.16r on my new hard drive, and I found that I
can no longer have my favorite libraries in a folder called "Library"
as apposed to the default EAGLE folder"lbr". When I click on "Use",
only the libraries in "lbr" come up.

This may be due to the fact that I simply copied over the directories
from my CD-ROM backup into the new version 4.16r. I'd been using
version 4.15 when my hard drive partiton disappeared, follow by
increasingly corrupt partitions on the same physical Maxtor 80 GB
drive, which has now been replaced with a 5 year warranty Seagate 160
GB drive.

I can't recall if I had to use the EAGLE interface to get my favorite
libraries into "Library" in the first place, or if I just copied them
there via Windows XP. Unless someone specifically knows how to do it,
I guess I'll have to resort to the Nipponenglish tutorial for clues.

Regards,
Ted

You have to have the "Libraries" tab in options/directories tab
of the control panel set correctly. I don't know if your overwrite
procedure would have ended up setting that or not. Mine looks like:
$EAGLEDIR\lbr;$HOME\EagleProjects\mylbr
