Thanks, Tom!  I had only kinda GUESSED the diff was about what you say.  GOOD 
to know exactly!  Yes, I now realize the difference in the "watermark"!  My 
local PCB house GIVES me remnants under 4" for free.  ONE "year's worth" will 
last ME for several years!  All that has a RED watermark, but I do recall 
white, years back.  Hmmm...    Thanks again!    Jan Rowland

We purchased laminate in 36"x48" sheets and 18"x24" panels. These 
were then cut down to the needed size. Even with lots of planning we 
ended up with a lifetime supply of 4" pieces. Seems like most of the 
left over pieces were 4"x36". Thats what I use now for the small 
stuff but still buy full sheets at times. 

Every shop I've ever been in has lots of these small pieces piled up 
so thats the place to go shopping. We used to have the hobby guys 
come looking and I always just gave it away to help them out. Ended 
up being good friends with some of these guys and we were able to 
help each other over the years. 

Some of these guys were software types and thats always been my weak 
area. They helped me with some software projects and now I'm starting 
to learn PIC processors myself. It reminds me of my early circuit 
board days when I was learning by my mistakes! Nothing like the 
school of hard knocks. Thats why I like to post on this group. Maybe 
I can help someone and they won't have to make the same mistakes I 
made.

A very admirable attitude, Tom!  And if 10% of the professionals like you had 
that attitude when I was a teen, on into my early-twenties, I would have a 
proper attitude, yet today!

But they didn't, and I had to scrounge and/or "do without", so I am now an 
embittered old geriatric with an attitude!
