HP LaserJet 6L Contrast Settings?

That other thread about the toner reminded me.-
Does anyone who runs that HP not get the full adjustment prefs on
their Windows machines?
I get that simple looking "advanced" page in the prefs, with pulldowns
for "econo" mode and 600 or 300 dpi, then the basic print dialog junk
with black & white, color, etc.
I could swear I've seen a page with incremental "fader" adjustments
for contrast and all, but I may be getting confused with my old Sharp
printer.
I'm using the built-in WindowsXP driver and I've checked the print
dialogs in Opera8.5, Canvas6, Eagle Lite (4.x?), and Acrobat Reader 5.
