Please don't send posts with Digest xxx as Subject. You can certainly etch without bubbler, no problem, it will be slower however. Moving the PCB or container during etching sometimes helps to stir things and speed them up. As for your software, most layout programms are able to produce "copper pour" for ground planes, which does a similar thing to what you want. (Not quite the same i know as groundplanes are only connected to one signal). I would like to have a look at your software if it is free, but because of existing functions it isn't something i was waiting for. ST
