Strip-X will remove the enamel/varnish but it is slow and messy to 
use.  For thin wire, I simply quickly pass it thru a flame and then 
wipe off the charred enamel/varnish.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
