Still dead on the parallel input front...
BUT i have stuck a piece of aluminium foil onto a sheet of paper, run
through the unit
and started the "test head" process.
The ink is still the pelikan ink that came with the printer.
(seems similar to the epson ink to me).
I have made 1 1200 dpi scan of the result.
