Hi, I've recently made some acid resistant PCB holders using a 10 mm perspex sheet cut into 16 mm wide strip. Here are two pictures http://members.optusnet.com.au/~eseychell/pictures/pcb_holder_1.jpg http://members.optusnet.com.au/~eseychell/pictures/perspex_spring_clamp.jpg There is a trick to making it. I first cut a strip of perspex 10x16mm. Then drill a 3 mm hole about 30 mm from the end. A cut is made with a hacksaw down the middle to reach the hole. The width of the cut is only about 1 mm and not very straight. I then soften the end with hot air gun so the perspex is like stiff rubber. A PCB is forced into the slit. Then a metal spring clamp is placed over the end so it forces the perspex even tighter over the PCB. Now for the tricky part, gently heat the perspex around the PCB so if goes soft and conforms to the shape of the PCB and closes any gaps (except for the 3 mm hole). When cooled remove the clamp and the perspex should be a tight fit over of PCB. In the above picture, the two perspex holders hold a 300 x 200 mm PCB quite firmly. Adam
