Homebrew PCBs

Ok,

I've looked thru the list a bit, and in the files section and in the links
section, but I haven't found any good info on this.

For smaller boards, I have no problem - as long as the entire board can fit
under the iron.  Once I do a larger board where I need to lift and shift the
iron from one portion to another, I seem to have a problem with either
nothing staying hot enough, or not proper lengths of time with heat applied
to various areas.

Is there anyone that can offer my some advice on using a hand iron to
transfer a larger PCB??
