It looks like it can be produced by heating copper in a blowtorch flame, though getting enough to produce a reasonable amount of CuCl might take a while (a long while). I'm toying with the idea of dissolving copper into a small amount of ~36.2% HCl + ~35% H2O2 (to the point of saturation) then adding that to the etch bath... though once again the question is how much that would really help. -- Phil. ygroups@... http://www.philpem.me.uk/
