I just completed a 45 minute run of the Shurflow fitted with the heat exchanger/heat sink. The pump worked like a champ and never cut out. Therefore, it's safe to say it was worth the extra $ 20 USD. OTOH, if I have to run the pump longer than 15 minutes (And at 15 minutes we are talking a board with unrealistic copper weight), I've done something horribly wrong... I figure using only 33% of a proven 45 minute run gives me pleny of room in the event I do sucessive runs back to back.
