Eldon, I really like the idea of using Solder Wick as the "paint brush". In fact, it would not be hard to make a tool that would clamp a piece of Solder Wick to a T shaped tip. Although a bit unwieldy, I wonder if it could attach to my soldering gun to give extra heat. Thanks! After clean-up I use Scotch Bright to remove the shine, because the un-buffed surface is very bright and distracting while mounting parts.
