Not uncommon for the drilling machines in the fabs to run at 200,000RPM. They are insane to watch. The drill heads pop up and down as fast as the needle on a sewing machine. I took some video at the recent Shenzhen China PCB show, but because Youtube is blocked in China, it's difficult for me to show you. Mitch.
