Homebrew PCBs

For what it's worth; the Radio Shack part no. is still used by Radio Shack.  They may have re-cycled it, but it still is listed as "printed circuit board"

Yes thats were I got the pdf from and it mentions the board layout from them arrl handbook

board layouts.  It looks like it was all perf board from the photos.

The amp was built from an article in the September 1982 CQ magazine called
how to build the DX-811a, I have that article along with the amp that he
built, minus rectifier board he did tell me a while ago that he used the
board the article suggested and cut it himself, im just having trouble
finding it

Hi Kevin

Which amplifier is it? I have a few old ARRL Handbooks here. Will have 
to dig them out but happy to check to see if I have one with the amp in, 
They repeated the designs over several years so it may be in others 
apart from 82 and 85.
