RE: [Homebrew_PCBs] Ferric Chloride storage

2003-10-31 by Marty Grove

I'm curious as to how much Ferric are you trying to heat up (1 gal., 5 gal,
etc.), and from what temp (ambient) to what temp (target) are you going to?

What I would suggest is to find a submersible Teflon coated heater (I have
seen them in all shapes and sizes; one size I particularly liked is a flat,
square element that sits flat on the bottom of a container).

Good luck.

Marty

This is a stupid question but I havent found the solution. My supply
of etchant comes in plastic bottles. I want to preheat it before
using. No, noway am I using my microwave. I have a heat gun and
figure if I could find glass product such as pyrex that had a lid for
storage I'd like to use it any suggestions?
