The film is used to produce negative or positive transparencies. Suitable sensitised boards must be used with it, of course. You can either buy them pre-sensitised, or buy the film and apply it yourself. It's a bit tricky, though. I don't make many boards so I don't mind the cost of the pre-sensitised ones.
