HI John is same as for multilayer board it use very thin FR-4 PCB (single or 2 side) then it hot laminate it to aluminium plate whit a Prepreg bethen pcb and the metal core but for laminate it you need a hydraulic press capable of heating to 230-250 deg Celsus so above glass transition point of FR-4 Prepreg sheet was aviable from lpkf or local pcb shop it look like paper thin fibre glass fabric whit resin on it as for press i personally use 2 1/2" thick aluminium plate on on a metal frame 1" thick bolted together the 4 corner and put it on kitchen over for 60 minute then let it cold down for another 60 minute for multilayer it same but you replace metal core whit 2 or more 2 layer PCB each one separated by a Prepreg sheet then drill and plate via Best regard Marc Lalonde --- In Homebrew_PCBs@yahoogroups.com, "John Dammeyer" <johnd@...> wrote: > > > > Has anyone done any metal cored PC boards at home?
