Re: SV: [Homebrew_PCBs] Changing my printer to print PCB's ????

Ordinary copier paper is no good as the toner will embed too deeply into the paper fibres and can't come out again

advertising papers are full of graphics and for some reason when using this they cause the toner to transfer badly or to come off again afterwards.

I have good results from using pages from magazines with Text ONLY on BOTH sides. If you can get some old magazines that should work. Thicker pages will go through the printer OK, for thinner ones you might need to tape it to a sheet of normal paper so it doesn't jam. Masking tape is good, plastic cellotape would probably melt on your printer's fuser.

Photo paper or special PCB transfer paper also works great.
