Homebrew PCBs

When I try to connect parts together 
I get a popup to ask what NET to add too
and I have to enter a number.

On the demo video on you tube, it shows
the same popup, BUT .. it has a checkbox
to automagically assign it .. 

Same versions .. 1.2 

Is this a setting or something ?

What am I doing wrong ? 
Not liking FreePCB so far .. lol
