Homebrew PCBs

Hi,
I'm new to all this and have been looking through the messages for anything related to the above.

Couldn't find anything on using oil based pens as a resist. I see that Techsoft say theirs can be used for this as well as OHPs. Now I have some original Roland ones, still seem OK, question is are these the same spec and does anyone have any experience of using either the Roland or Techsoft ones.

I'm going to give it a go anyway, as it will save me buying either a laser etc
