If you try to download something that doesn't come from Microsoft, it aborts the download as a potential security threat. "For your safety." </sarcasm> I would strongly suggest trying another browser. If the one you are using is able to shut your computer down, then it is not really a browser, but a portal to controlling your computer and should not be used to go near the web.
