Homebrew PCBs

I just purchased a Scotch laminator and would like help taking the cover off.  I took the two screws out of the bottom of the laminator, and tried to gently pry the cover off. I didn't have any luck, but I didn't try too hard. As a matter of fact, I saw information from another web site that I need to burn the laminator in before I rip 8-) it apart.  What is the best way to take the cover off?  Thanks.  Carroll
