Interesting fact - all the boards shown in that article (and part 2
next month) were home-brewed :-)  (there, it's on-topic again ;)

The main GPIO board is the four-layer home-brew board I talked about
back then.

This is my second article, ever.  The first was for my alarm clock
last year that was on the cover of #216:
