If you use separate vias, why bother with an eyelet? Just
insert a snipped off lead (from a resistor, or cap?) and solder
on both sides. Or am I missing something?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
