Hi Leon
Would this design be able to use single side board, as iam not up to 
speed on making double side one's ??

As your uesing two 7-segment LED displays, is the time displyed as 
mins or secs, and what is the max time ?.  Instead of useing a reed
relay, can it use a dpdt one ?.
