Homebrew PCBs

I am using an old flatbed scanner as a light box at the moment and have 
a Jaycar kit timer. It has adjustable start\stop times. I have wired a 
buzzer across one set of relay "NC" contacts so when not active buzzer 
sounds, and my light box is wired through th "NO" contacts. When I 
power it up the buzzer sounds while i'm placing boards etc. When I 
press the start button buzzer goes off and light comes on and vice 
versa when timing is done.
