i have also seen a setup where the drill came from underneath. i have no idea how you cold see it with this unit. but it looked not very expensive. wait.. now i remember also a very heavy press as you described standing in the pcb shop. but it was VERY old. it has had a round screen, it looked like some military target finding equipment.
