Ok just to tidy this off, do not waste time with a c42, the resolution of the head is too low, and you can see the tracks made by individual heads like scanlines, on soft paper its fine the ink spreads and fills in the gaps, on good quality photo paper / copper it just leaves alternate ink/space lines. Its a great printer for kids to do homework on, but I would not even recommend it as a photo printer. Guess the daughters got a disposable printer.........
